The scammer named above promised me a lowered monthly mortgage payment by extending the term of my current mortgage. He asked for statements of my mortgage to be sent over to him. What he asked for in exchange was for me to pay a $750.00 fee to refinance and lower my monthly payment. He stated that this was to cover the fees of doing the transaction. He sent me friendly e-mails mentioning how I had a very great attitude. There were spelling mistakes in his writing that if consumers can catch, they can be alerted that this is a scam. I was initially contacted by this man, Nate Spencer, via the phone and then the communication continued via e-mail. Attached you will find a forwarded e-mail of what he sent me.
