Received an email on a Friday for a interview as an executive assistant from a Justin Brennan claiming to be an HR manager. He asked to interview me over the phone because the company was relocating to my city. He told me to reply with my name and phone number. I received a text message on Monday ask if he could interview me at the time. I ask if he had any availability for Tuesday. It took him several hours to respond so I figured he moved on to another candidate who was available. He then texted several hours later stating that he can interview me on Tuesday that he will call in the am. Tuesday came and he literally asked me 5 questions and told me to be out on the look for a email. Wednesday morning came and I had a job employment offer with a high paying salary via email. Justin texted me that morning to check my email and apply with an answer. The email congratulated me and stated that I would be given a lap top and to do work for the company til they relocated to my city on April 1st. The email also stated that a check would be sent to me via mail from the finance department to purchase work supplies. I felt something wasn’t right so I did Extensive research and couldn’t find nothing on the company that claimed to be around for a decade. This scam is trying to get people to cash checks bad checks and send in w4 info with your ssn or bank info. So horrible. This man needs to be stopped and caught.
