I saw a listing for a Personal Assistant on LinkedIn. The listing was by the Jacobsen Group Inc. The person who listed the job was Farid Sadri, whose LinkedIn profile identified their employer as CONAC, Concrete Accessories, Inc. I was contacted via text by a person identifying themself as Farid Sadri regarding my application, but my questions regarding schedule, time zone, contracts, and paperwork were all dismissed. The contact then requested a reference list, which I provided. I advised I could begin work in 2 business days, but got a message requesting I complete a task as soon as possible, with the contact mentioning I could complete it today. I asked what the task was and was advised the contact wanted me to disburse funds to their associates, asking if they could trust me with that task. I asked for clarification and further details, again asking about position details, and was advised there was no paperwork needed for me to begin working as I would be employed as the contact's personal assistant. They then advised they would send me $3,800 for me to then send $3,200 to their associates. The exact company as listed could not be found on LinkedIn, neither could the contact Farid Sadri.
