Computer Protection Plan Imposter Reports & Reviews (1)

- Farmington, NM, USA

On 1/21/21 at 12:42 p.m. a voicemail was left on our home phone for my husband stating that this entity was automatically renewing our protection plan on our computer according to our "signed legal agreement" for a period of 5 years at $6,800 and this amount would be deducted from our checking account within 1 hour if we did not call them to change or cancel. The woman had a heavy accent and said her name was Kelly Smith. We have never signed a legal agreement for renewal of a protection plan. Our computer is protected by Norton and renewed on a yearly basis through a credit card payment. We have never given our checking account information to purchase a protection plan. We received several of the same calls in November 2020 and a report was filed with ScamPulse.com on 11/14/2020 via this same website. We did not call the number back.
