My elderly father recieves daily calls from an unknown number in Newport, TN. The caller knows my father's name and claims he signed up for computer services. Offers to check my father's computer and fix any problems. Every time, my father says he doesn't need any computer service and to stop calling.
When i got on the phone on behalfof my father, "Patrick" a computer tech claimed they call each client only once every 45 days and that he was not attempting to charge my father money or sell him anything. He asked if we want to stop the service and we said yes.

I was called by someone claiming to be from Computer360, by the name Kevin Johnson phone number 865-264-8718.
I had this happen before and the first time fell for the scam. I didn't do what he wanted and he froze my computer. I called Computer360 and the got my computer up and running again. Computer 360 will NOT call you.

Was scammed twice. First time was told that because Computer360 was going out of business they were going to refund the cost of the service contract PLUS give me an additional $200 for being such a good cUstomer (only had the three yr contract since March), I foolishly logged on to my bank account while they had control of my computer) was then asked how far it was to the nearest branch. As it was almost 5 when the bank closes, was told that he would call back the next day to complete the transaction. It then occurred to me that I had been the victim of a scam and that night changed my bank online username and password. The next day I called Computer360, using the number on my original contract and had to wait for a callback. Later that day the scammer called back to complete the transaction. I was waiting for a callback from the Computer360 number I had originally called, so when the scammer called back I didn’t answer and he kept calling. Then got a call where the callerid displayed as Computer360 so I thought it was my call being returned. When asked to turn on my computer I refused. He kept insisting and I kept refusing, that I would only accept a refund in the form of a check. Then he said in order to process the refund check I needed to be on my computer; after arguing for almost 30 minutes he had worn me down. I got on my computer and he took control of it. He installed some software and asked if I had a credit card that the money could be transferred via Western Union. I entered my credit card info and then a black screen appeared where I was told to enter my name, hit enter, then the refund amount. I thought i had mis-entered the refund amount because as I was doing it, it suddenly displayed as $3999 instead of $399 and was entered before I could correct it. Was told I could re-enter it and the same thing happened again. Asked if there was someway to back out or undo what had been entered and he said he would check with their finance department. Came back and said transactions could not be backed out and I had just taken almost $8000 from their company. Was asked how far it was to the nearest BestBuy. Panicking I called my credit card company while the man on the phone kept saying ‘no, no, don’t do that!. As I had stepped aside to call the credit card company, when I came back I discovered that I could no longer get to the userids, not even the admin account as they had been changed, and the call had been ended.
Now I have to have somehow or get someone figure out how to get my admin acct password so I can get the rogue software of my machine. So embarrassed that I allowed myself to be scammed twice. By the way when I called my credit card company the next day, was told they only process payments for balances or from other credit cards. Bad experience.

A lady named Jennifer called me after I was locked out of my email and I clicked on "help" to try and get it unlocked. She told me they could unlock it for $299.00 I gave them my credit card information.

This company put viorus on the computer than calls. Saying they fix it for 500 dollars I believed them when I sent them money second time they block my computer and stole money from my bank I shut off the computer on them and informed my bank

I had to use a local computer company to help me

The keep calling me I lock them

A call came in while my husband was on google trying to fix his email. He was on the phone with man for 45 minutes. My husband is 85! When he reached for his credit card, I screamed SCAM. They wanted his credit card and charge him $400.00.

They prey on the old. Beware.

Normally the initial contact is via phone. The customer is havin trouble with their PC or Email. Then they connect to the victims computer remotely, will run an app that will say there are harmful applications on it even if there is none. Then will tell the customer that malware is main cause of identity theft. Ofcourse they will pay 400usd to "fix" the computer when in reality, theres really no problem. I have the Company's proof. They have a small call center in the Philippines. Mostly old people who are less knowledgeable with using a computer are main targets. I have a copy of the company's script which will show they are indeed scam.
