A complaint on your business profile on Better Business Bureau.
A long message asking to verify my business by means of: utility bill, Business lic, tax documentation, operating license, insurance document, or lease.
I was not comfortable with providing this information before I confirmed this email was legit. I researched my businesses in Canada and the US and there were not claims made. I called the US ScamPulse.com and spoke to a wonder lady named Shelly that confirmed that the email used was in fact not legit. She asked that I report this incident using the ScamPulse.com Scam Tracker.
PLEASE NOTE: when filling out this scam tracker, I was asked to provide a number that was used. There was NO phone number used in the email. I was not able to continue filling out the tracker unless I put a number in so I used my PERSONAL number. I did NOT give my personal number to anyone though. ALSO, in the scam tracker I was asked about the zip code used. Again, I had to use my business zip code however this info was not in the original email nor did I share this with anyone.
I have deleted the original email and marked it as BLOCK SENDER.
That is all the information that I have about todays experience
