When covid hit I applied to a lot of jobs on indeed.com hoping I get one of the remote jobs. I was contacted by Complete construction services to work from them and they had many positions available. I would be working from home helping their company with different jobs and dealing with customers. I answered interviewing questions and signed paper work for them, the next step was for me to buy all the equipment that was needed to do the job. I received two checks and tried depositing them and they did not go through (until a month later) I told them the money didn't go through and they told me they were going to send out another check. I told them I never got another check and they stopped communication with me. I was also getting funds from the GI Bill because I go to school and thought the funds that were in my account were from the GI Bill didn't think anything of it. However I got a letter in the mail stating that I was over paid from the GI and I will have to pay that money back. I paid them back using the money that was in my account.

The money in my account was from the checks that I tried to deposit ( bad checks) I didn't find this out until this week November 3rd, I deposited those checks back in July. I have filed a police report with the Peekskill police department. My account is under investigation with the fraud department at my bank. I have contacted the people who were on the check Thomas May, and they were also kind of effected by it since they have to change the way they do banking but no money was taken from them.

I also contacted the scammer and they person I was talking to goes by the name Anthony Miller and when I brought up that Thomas May to him he told me that was a partner company. I then told him Thomas May only works in Florida and dose not do business out side of Florida so that's a lie and told me I should be getting verification codes so he can see who I am (I never got any codes and didn't click on anything).

This was also the message they sent me on indeed "Thank you for your interest in this job position.
