About one year and a half ago, while working on my computer, the name Microsoft popped up on my computer as an alert message. I was no more able to do anything on my computer. There was a phone number to reach to get support. I called and the "technician" who answered told me he was working for Microsoft and he offered me to overhaul my computer free of charges. After working for about on hour on my computer, he told me that, for 1000 US $, I would get a complete lifetime protection form Microsoft for all the computers at home (tower, desktop, i-pad). I paid the 1000 US $. The 'technician' kept calling me to ask how was everything. After a few months, I was working on my computer when a Microsoft pop up appeared again telling that my computer was infected and needed to be fixed up. It cost me 300.80 US $ to get it fixed. I paid to get it fixed. The 'technician' called me a couple of times to ask if my computer was working properly. A few months later, while working on my computer , I lost control of it. I called the number given to me by the 'technician' and he said that somebody had entered on my computer and that he should act quickly to remove the hacker. It cost me 474.36 US $. That happened a third time. The 'technician' worked for an hour on the computer. He showed me that he had to remove eleven problems at 65 US $ each. I paid again 749 US $. The 'technician' had a very strong 'Indian English' accent. He put a 'My Tech' on my computer desk with the information below and asked me to call that number if I had any further problems and that he will correct them free of charges.

A week ago, I lost again control of my computer. I closed it immediately. Yesterday it was a voice saying that my computer was in real danger. I closed it immediately.
Looking at my credit card accounts, all the money I paid bears the name of Compiko! How come Microsoft never sent any warning about Compiko making a fraudulent use of the trade name Microsoft? They should have known.

In September 2020, Compiko popped up on my computer - like an alert message. There was a phone number to call. I gave them remote control of my computer. They charged me $149.99. I was speaking to someone in Jaipure, India.
