I called the number on the email and a man who spoke with a foreign accent answered. I told him I received an email claiming I had signed up for Geek Squad and that is not something I had signed up for. He told me then someone must have used my information to sign up for the service. He asked me for the customer ID and my name from the email which I gave to him. The man was asking me to log onto a certain website. I told him I was at work and asked if he would given me the address so I could go on after work. He told me no, he had to walk me through it so that I could get my money returned and also take me off an auto renewal for Geek Squad every 3 years. He was insistent that I call him back at the phone number in the email and ask for Marshal Adams. He repeated that several times. I then asked what their hours were and he paused and asked me what time it was where I was at. I told him 12:30 and he then said 5 o’clock. I repeated back that he was open until 5 PM. He said yes and then repeated that I need to call Marshal Adams.
