Victim received on her home desk top computer a pop up stating her computer was compromised and advised her to contact "Compere" at (832)336-7267. Victim contacted "Compere" and paid $199.00 for unknown repair to computer. Victim at this time provided "Compere" customer service her financial account information and permitted them to gain control of her computer. Victim three months later received called from "Compere" associate Paul Harrison. Victim purchased $300 for additional computer security package. Mr. Harrison called back later stating to Victim "Compere" had refunded Victim to much money and Vic. would need to pay "Compere" back in Gift Cards. Vic. complied purchasing $3600 in Gift Cards.
