Comparation Phone company through CARP has taken over our long distance phone plan WITHOUT our permission. They offered a free Zoomer magazine and membership to CARP. They gave a lot of information to my spouse, and told him that they were happy to help sign him up for these two things. However, upon doing so, they also switched our long distance plan to theirs without permission or verbal agreement. They then proceeded to send a bill for one month and are now expecting another bill as well. This was done completely out of our knowledge and we feel so scammed by them. They've ruined our package with our previous company and now they demand payment for the long distance. They will not accept our payment and say it's not going through, nor do they allow us to actually confirm cancellation. They put us on hold, tell us we cannot hear them (though multiple phones were used to attempt to communicate) and then put us off for day after day, saying we cannot put this through. Wait 24 to 48 hours every time!
