This company ******* ***. did get a call from someone claiming to be from Phillips Respironics also an actual company. The caller using a CPAP device serial # spoke to Lincare Inc. employee ****** and wanted personal information on one of their ******* **** clients/patient. Employee would not provide the information stating to the caller HIPPA regulations. When employee asked the caller for their name they hung up. The manager ******* ***** of said business ******* **** told the employee Vickie to contact the local Police Dept. and they in turn referred her to us to file on our ScamTracker. The company that was contacted by the caller is a durable medical company who supplies such devises to their patients.
