Scammer pretended to be me (Pastor of Community UM Church) using publically anvailable info and asked the email recipients to handle a matter discreetly. When the people replied they would say they needed 4 gift cards for people in hospice.

The email they used was not one used by me or the church, we checked our records and a few recipients did not have emails recorded in our accounts.
