This person messaged me from a Instagram account and it was in my messenger from Facebook. They used a friend's name and picture. The Instagram account this person has is ratowa6993. I was talking to her (which I thought was my friend Kathy) then the subject of CSBG (Community Service Block Grant Program) came up. She asked if I have gotten any notifications about it. Also if I have gotten any money from them. She explained how she got $100000 Cash delivered to herr door step after she applied and said that she didn't have to pay it back. She offered me a agent in charge Text number, I didn't take it. Then I said to her 'There must be some kinda catch. Usually is'. She asked me What's That?. Well that was a red flag for me!!. So I asked 'How did you find out about it?' . She said "Like 2 friends of mine told me about this program before, until one of my friends on Facebook introduced me to this claiming agent.. but to my surprise I got this huge amount of money delivered to me at my doorstep'. She also said 'This is real'. 'You can just give it a try also ok'. While I was talking to her I found the website for it and I got put in a loop sort of after I gave my name, number and partial address. The site wants you to choose something they offer, anything from a unsecured credit card to all kinds of grant money (most of which you had to give money to get money) stuff for housing assistance and much more. I kept refusing everything and it just bounded me to get something so I shut my browser down. I then started asking questions that only the real Kathy would know the answer. I asked 4 simple questions ie: my hair color, my friends cat name, her neighbors car color (which they Don't have a car but a truck), and what kinda vehicle does my boyfriend have (I don't have a boyfriend). Then told this person 'Come on Kathy (plus the last name) you know the answer to the questions!'. That was the very end of the conversation. I'm having this person blocked on messenger and Instagram after I take screenshots of all of the conversation. I have security on my phone that will take care of this scammer if they try and text or call me!.
