I invested three hundred dollars on a charge for a check I was going to get for $250,000.00 from the Federal Government. They said they were going to send it by UPS today at 10am but then delayed it to 11:30am. Then “Jackie Render” texted me again and said I had to pay an additional 700 dollars to get my $250,000.00. I trusted the message because it was under my friend from high schools fb and I thought it was legitimate. My friend said he received the money also, in a text. I tried several times to call my friend from school who I didn’t have a phone number for but was trying to contact him from messenger. When I clicked on it there was never a phone number listed. I have been scammed. And the public needs to know about this. This happened through messenger on FB
