I was contacted by this person claiming he worked for a bank and I was approved for a loan. I said I do not remember filling out form. He gave me all my info like email, date of birth, phone #. Told me I filled it out online. So I thought it was secure. He sent me papers through email from the claiming bank paper work for me to sign for loan. I actually printed papers off to see them. Then something just seemed off when he wanted to know my password for my bank. For the mobile banking. Then I reached out to the main bank asked if they had a scammed name, they said knowone by that name works for them. Also he voice sounded Indian. Hard to understand, that was another flag. When I emailed the scammed back. I told him he was a scam arrest and I was reporting him to the police and he never reached out to me again.

Phone scam. 773-598-4679 is a loan fraud scheme claiming to be Commonwealth Credit Union. They are not from the credit union. I am a VP with the real CommonWealth Credit Union in Bourbonnais IL. The loan fraud company is scamming monies from individuals using google play cards and asking for personal information. We have posted a warning on our website. They are not from the credit union in Kentucky either who has the same name as us but we are not affiliated. I've filed complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
