They accused me of owing them $*** for magazines. I did not order magazines for the company called Publishers Union Warehouse Inc. I google information on Commercial Collection Group and learned that many others have received the same letter telling them that they owe $*** plus dollars for magazines.

I was sent a debt collection in the mail from this company in regards to publishers union warehouse inc a company I have not done business with saying I owe $961.49 for an apparent magazine subscription service. I have never received magazines from this company nor do I read magazines at all. I contacted the collections people and they said word for word well you can’t believe everything on the internet there is always unflattering stuff in there when I mentioned I called the ScamPulse.com and they never heard of this company.

Received a letter advising I owe Publishers Union Warehouse Inc. $971.40 and that CCG is trying to collect this debt. I have never dealt with them so suspected a scam. I did not want to call them for fear of some type of phone scam so looked up scams on the BBB and discovered another report.

I received a notice in the mail yesterday that stated I owed $974.72 to Publishers Union Warehouse, INC. Having never purchased anything from the company, I called the collection agency. They stated that they have a credit card verification from 09/28/2014 that I did infact order 5 magazine for 5 years. I was told that I have 30 days to pay for it would affect my credit report.... I called my bank and asked for the credit card info for that year. Well I didn't have a credit card then only a debit card. So I looked back through all my records and there was never a purchase from Publishers Union Warehouse, INC. I contacted the ScamPulse.com and asked if either of these businesses are real. The lady stated that she couldn't find any information on either of them.
