Type of a scam Employment
Be getting a check and equipment to purchase softwares to begin the job. I then lodge the check as everything at first seemed legit until he asked me to sign up for Zelle as the check was on hold and I am to send him 100 from my account to see if it will work when the money comes through and I can Zelle to his vendors.
What really caught my attention after that was when he said let us try another alternative and he couldn’t tell me until after a long wait that I should provide him my bank login details. I refused and told him that now I don’t believe any of this. So I went and stop a payment we were trying to send to his Zelle. He got upset saying why won’t I provide the bank info plus front and back of my debit card to him. It’s not like I have any money in it. So I said whether or not it’s empty I will never ever provide my bank login to you or anyone. He tried calling me and I declined and block his number. Hours later I see another number texting me so I block out because it seemed suspicious.
