They are using a credit card account for a store card I have to request my social security number, credit card number and zip code under the guise of my account needing to be paid (my account is already paid in full!).

Received phone call identified as Comenity. I answered only because I have an account with Stage which uses Comenity Bank for payments made with checks.

The person calling stated that my account was going to be closed due to delinquent payments. I stated that I owed nothing. He asked if I had an account. I answered "yes" , which I now regret doing. He then began asking for personal information. I told him "No" and hung up.

I immediately called stage and they verified they would not have placed this type of call to me.
