Person contacted our office stating they were calling from SMECO concerning a past due bill that needed to be paid. If payment was not made immediately our electric would be shut off in a half hour to an hour. Left a call back number 800-688-0501 and said to reference number 6658512. When I returned the call and questioned the person, they stated they were calling from ComEd (Electric company on Illinois our office is in ***). When I further asked the person's name,they hung up.
