A person representing Comcast called to offer a promotion coinciding with Best Buy. We recently checked on promotions, so this seemed like a normal contact. He offered same program plan and same monthly bill with hbo and Netflix added for free. I had to buy a Walgreens Best Buy card that would pay for the next 3 months. $120 mo. So the $360 Best Buy card would pay for the next 3 months to activate the promotion. That would lock in the $120 Per mo. for 2 years. They spent the $360 Best Buy card in Richmond, Minnesota in the same day. When we didn’t get the hbo service, we called the same number And he said they’d send a check in the mail, but they needed to send a $300 Best Buy card from Walgreens to get this deal. I might speak to media about this.
