We received 2 messages on Dec 23 stating that in order to avoid lawsuit against us, we must immediately call this number (646-313-3781). My son (and I) called that evening (from his cell phone), expecting a scam for sure, but were interested in their approach. The gentleman that answered had a distinctive foreign (South American) accent and stated that we must act quickly because someone would be at our house within 25 minutes to arrest us. He said he was with the Columbian IRS. He wasn't very receptive to our questions and the conversation quickly turned ugly with raised voices, threats and f-bombs going back and forth. We had a pretty good laugh with it!

I called myself shortly after from our home phone and the person was short with me, requesting that they're closing and to call back tomorrow. I tried again today and it seems like the number must no longer be valid (rang for a while, then went to a fast busy signal).
