Fernbroook Management Corp sent a contract for the sale of a timeshare in which they were offering $51k. They said they would put money in trust and funds would be available upon closing. I then got paperwork from Colorado Title Alliance, LLC title company that would be handling the closing. They had asked for money throughout stating they were fees that had to be covered and asked that we deposit to that trust account that had been opened under our name, guaranteeing that funds would be then reimbursed. They then asked for additional money stating that because it was a foreign transaction we had to pay the IRS money as this was excess income. Closing could not take place until payment was made to the trust they created. A total of $28, 831.16 was sent to them.
