Colorado One calls me several times a day, a different person each time. They say they "are in the area" doing roof inspections, and ask to schedule a visit. (Such roofing scams are common -- the work is done very poorly, and then the vendor disappears.) The caller id is usually blocked, but not always -- first call today was a cell phone, 970-987-9475. I suspect that one caller was "just doing their job" and is not aware of the scam, but when I pushed her, she became belligerent. In a different call, the caller told me he just saw my roof and thought I'd be interested. This was clearly a lie, since my roof was being repaired by a reputable vendor at that very time. In another call I asked for a call back number, which he refused to provide. I pushed one caller to give me an address, which was 377 West Colfax, Denver. That building appears to be a hotel or apartment building, with no official office listed. I can't find their website. And so on. This is a scam.
