I applied to a job offer on indeed for operation manager position,i then received a reply back from indeed telling me to send my resume along with a cover letter,once that was sent i was contacted by the company from a email that looks legit,only difference is it was missing one letter in the email and noticed that to be fishy,soon after they sent multiple emails telling me of a job offer contract worker 1099 and would be paid $500 per week to do errands and purchase equipment,a couple days after they mail out a check for almost 5k n tell me to deposit check and then take the funds out,and they will proceed to tell me what to purchase with the funds,i didnt deposit the check and left it at that,beware total scammers
