Purchased a twin bed frame online on June 8, 2023. Received the order in the mail on June 21, 2023 however it was defective by manufacture and cannot be assembled at all. Emailed Customer service on June 21, 2023 and have been in contact for them to say I would receive the part “late week July”. Got a follow up email July 31, 2023 to say it won’t arrive until “first week of August” then another email saying “late week August”. I tried to ask about returning the original and replacing it with a brand new order, but I would have to pay over $100 for shipping. I asked if I could cancel the order and just return it for my money back and they said there is a cancellation fee and I would still have to pay for shipping which again is $100+. I would lose more money to return it than to keep it and throw it away. I’ve asked for a discount to accommodate the MAJOR inconvenience and they insist that they cannot give discounts if it is something they can fix (but have yet to give a deadline to how long they have to resolve the issues). Their customer service email responses are also taking much longer to respond between each time I reach out to them and I sometimes have to send multiple emails to get a response.
