Same thing happened to me except for the check was in the bank named bremer Bank definitely a scam though. They said all the same stuff and the check amount was even for the same 2,800 right I know.

I was offered a part time job by a company named Vanchiv Systems. The duties were data entry, mail service, shop for gifts, accounts payable transactions, bill payments deliver and pick up items at the post office. The pay was $800/week for working 2 hours/day. I agreed. ( although it seemed to good to be true). They were going to provide me with a printer.

I received a check through USPS Saturday (9/2/2023) for $2800.60. It was drawn from a credit union named Fairwinds. the address printed on the check is Vanchiv Systems Inc. 4048 Sonoma Hwy. Napa California. I googled the address and it belongs to a resort hotel. I called them and they never heard of Vanchiv Systems Inc..
