Ordered a product off of an add on Facebook for a really great price on a product (I should have known better). When I clicked on the link, it looked like the order was being placed through Dick's Sporting Goods. After I placed my order through Paypal, I later received the confirmation from the seller which was not from Dick's Sporting Goods but from an email [email protected]. After receiving this, I immediately became suspicious. I contacted the seller and ask for confirmation that this was not a scam. I then filed a dispute with Paypal. Paypal of course denied the dispute and sent a so called tracking number that the seller gave them. When I tracked that package on USPS, it showed delivered. I did not receive the package so I contacted my local post office and they said that the package delivered to another address local to myself. I emailed the seller again (several times over the course of 2 - 3 weeks). All the seller can respond back is saying "I'm really sorry, please be patient, we have been following up, we will contact you as soon as there is an update, thank you!" This is the only reply I get from the seller. I opened up another dispute with Paypal and again they have denied me. So on to about 4 weeks now, I contact my local post office again and was told that the package did not come from where I thought it was supposed to be coming from and that the tracking number the seller gave was the wrong tracking number. The lady at the post office typed up a letter on USPS letterhead stating that I did not receive my product so that I could dispute again with Paypal. I have done this and have not heard anything back from Paypal.
