This company is supposed to be a debt relief program. I was contacted by the credit bureau of Canada informing me that this company is a scam. I paid this company $5,000 over the past 2 years and they did nothing that they said they would. My creditors were never contacted and the company continually changes its name from Cockburn and Associates to colburn and associates. I was informed by the credit bureau that this company is a scam, that they move locations regularly and that there is already government legal action against them. I was told to get my money back from them immediately and to put a stop payment on my bank account so that they will no longer be able to take more money.

I ended up taking out a second mortgage on my home to actually pay down one of my creditors. I still have the one remaining that has to be paid and I have been talked in circles and told that I am crazy from this company. They have even told me that there is not credit bureau of Canada and that I am "full of it" and that I am just making things up.

Something needs to be done to stop these people. So many people are being taken advantage of and I am sure with more debit than I had.

Google them and see how many complaints there are on line regarding this company.
