Type of a scam Online Purchase
On Dec.30, 2020 I was surfing for a Cockapoo puppy. I came across the site: Cockapoo pups USA. I emailed them to see if this one puppy was still available “Snow”. It was, so we emailed for a couple of days, I felt comfortable, since years ago I had a puppy shipped to me without problems. They wanted me to pay with the Cash App I paid $960.00 on 1-4-21 after I set up account. Then we started emailing about shipping Snow the next day. So on 1-5-21 am I get a email that their at the airport and have checked Snow in for her flight. Then I get a email from Logistic carrier that they needed a special air vent crate due to CoVed. It would cost $2,000.00, but would be refundable upon delivery of the puppy. They wanted me to pay through the Cash App. I told them I did not have $2,000.00 for a crate, even if it was refunded upon delivery. If they would of told me about the crate I would of not went through with the transaction. I knew I could not afford $2,960.00 for this puppy. The male I was talking to on the phone said he would cancel the sale and refund my $ through the Cash App. That did not happen. I called him the next day, the # was no longer a working #. So I emailed them where we had been communicating, they no longer answered my emails. I requested a refund on the Cash App site, he declined the request. I contactedCash App, but since the transaction was completed they could not help me. So I have kept trying to email them, but no response. So can you at least make people aware they are scammers.
