I was offered a “free grant” from the Coca Cola Company by some random guy named Mike whom I met in downtown Las Vegas. He assured me in person it was nothing but a generous company looking to give out community grants to those who hadn’t received one already. The man handed me a check in the amount of $5000 and I was so in need of the financial assistance I immediate deposited the check in my bank account. Days later I withdrew the majority of the money to pay bills and help better my life financially for my family, even treated myself to a weekend event for once... only to find out that following Monday my account went into the negative &the check that was deposited was no good ! I damn near died in my skin, and cried out “I knew it was too good to be true !” I had no idea I could be scammed like this, I’ve been scammed before when I was younger and it was nothing like this. Please people, don’t trust ANYONE when it comes to money you didn’t earn yourself ! My life is now a mess, & I am distraught!
