Caller said my timeshare was up for sale at a timeshare resale presentation in the Dominican Republic. Stated they had a buyer ready to make an offer with a $9,000 down payment.I had many questions and the sales agent called me many times with answers to my questions. He provided a contract. I wired $895 to a so called consultant for real estate related fees. I was uncomfortable that this wire did not go to a title company, but was assured the resale market was different. From that point on I demanded proof we were dealing with Holiday Inn Vacations. I also called their legal department and they did not have any of the staff names I was dealing with in their employ as closing agents. Coastal capital referred me to a closing company that could not be verified. I refused to send around $4000 that was to settle past due yearly maintenance fees and other fees. Holiday Inn Vacation Club has had no contact from the people alleging to represent Coastal capital Financial
