Scammer website had a front through another popular clothing brand during the holidays marketing a big sale. Placed order and heard nothing for a month. Said it was coming from China and then said it was delivered. When j looked up the tracking number through the actual UPS site and not the link the company gave me, UPS says it’s a common scam tracking number. Reached out to the company and nothing.

Online Merchandising Scam/False Advertising

I made a purchase through an advertisement on Instagram stating everything on NastyGal was $8.97 and made one order and had to place a second for additional items I found. It said DHS shipping 3-7 days but I was concerned when I got the invoice from another merchant ( didnt think anything of it at the time, assumed it was a wharehouse) but did email the customer service to gain more information about my orders. They emailed be back promptly saying they put my two orders together for sustainability reasons since items were shipping from China.They also said because of the wait, once my items were received they would discount my order since I had to wait passed the promised shipping time... This was a month ago.

I have emailed them 2-3 more times over the last few weeks and they have continued to confirm with me that the items are arriving. The tracking provided does go to a link (Track718.com) that shows my items have arrived in my home state but there is no name for who the mail provider is and no further responses from them.

NASTY SCAM The link you get sent to looked completely legit as did the checkout page. I made the purchases on a credit card that protects me fully from scams. I suggest placing a claim/reporting a problem with your credit card company.

This happened to me as well package now 5 weeks later showing delivered saturday and i have nothing i am going to dispute with bank

They are impersonating the reputable brand Nasty Gal and advertising their website and products as legit. Since they steal such small amounts from consumers most people just accept the mistake they made. They have their links on IG and are using targeted advertising to those who have engaged with the brand. Be careful!
