My wife called a tech support number because she was told her computer had been hacked and they had taken money from her savings account. After two hours was transfered to whom she was told was Wells Fargo. She was told her account had been hacked and they had removed the money from her account but didn't show up because of how recent it was. In order for "Wells Fargo" to stop the transaction, she would need to perform the same transaction for it to show up. She was told to remove $10,000 and take it to a local Bitcoin machine. She was told once the money was in the Bitcoin account they would return the money to her savings in order for it to show up in the system. They are follow up calling in order to have the money returned to her account asking for her account numbers to put it back in the account.
