I have a friend on Instagram who I thought sent me a message regarding a new clothing platform. I assumed it was the real deal so I answered him. He said he sent me a text message which was strange because he didn't have my phone number. But, I checked my text messages and sure enough I did get a text message from him. This text message sent me a link. I checked my Instagram messages again and my (assumed) friend was VERY persistent on me sending this code to him that was sent. Red flags started waving. So...I checked my friends Facebook and he had posted on his Facebook page feed thar he was hacked on Instagram and to NOT respond to any messages. Well...it was too late...I did respond buy NEVER sent this scammed the code. Instead I got angry and said a few very choice words. He called me a Bloody Whore and tried to call me on Instagram. When my account started ringing...I hung up. Beware of this kind of Phishing. I have screenshots of the message exchange from Instagram & Facebook but this page is not letting me select an image.???
