Recieve a phone call from *** *. saying that I had an outstanding debt from when I was previously married (14 years ago) and that I would have legal papers filed on me if I didn't resolve the matter. He did have personal information which made me think it was real at first, however, while I did have an account with this company at one time there was no remaining balance. When I told him I have no negative marks on my credit he said it has been removed as a courtesy to me but if I didn't resolved it would be reflected on my credit report. He also said they had sent mail to my current home address with no response. I told him to email me the documentation and he said he would. Nothing came. I then went and researched the company. All the photos on the website are images they pulled from other places (thanks google images) but labeled them as members of the team. The number they call you from is a robo dialer to hide their phone number. I researched the name and several people have complained of this agency and them being a scam.
