I would like to warn the general public about Click Funnels predatory subscription practices. In general I feel that companies who employ tactics like this company does should be made to stop them. In this case, if you sign up for an annual subscription to their funnel software, you are charged at the beginning of that service. Fine, no issues. The problem only comes at the end when you want to cancel. Buried deep in their Terms of Service you will find the statement that you must cancel your subscription in writing 10 days prior to the end of your subsciption or they will charge you again. This is listed nowhere on their actual website where such a policy should absolutely be. Instead you only find out about it if you're wise enough to read the terms AND you remember to cancel within that last 10 days. If you cancel anytime before then, you'll lose access to the program with no refunds. This leaves the victim on the hook with a very short timeframe to work with. I can imagine this company enjoys a very large revenue boost due to scamming their paying customers out of an additional year. As for me, thankfully the credit card I used to sign up was no longer active when the year flipped over. I went through the process of cancelling my account through the account page and in the next day, I saw another attempted charge for the $970.00. When I contacted their support about it I was told that since I didn't cancel my account in time, that the cancellation was set to occur ONE YEAR from the date I cancelled since it was an annual subscription. They try to get away with this by telling you that you can contact their support and give them 4 out of 6 pieces of indentifyable information from your account so they can 'verify' you and manually cancel your account for you. Why have an account cancellation button if it doesn't actually work when you need it to? Now look at the beginning of this post, if my card was active, they would have charged me $970.00 then made me go through the hoops of cancellation, but since there are no refunds, that extra money would be lost, but hey your account is now cancelled right? Complete and utter scam. Please don't give money to this company, don't give them your information. Make them sit up and fly straight. There's no reason for this cancellation policy other than to shill unsuspecting people out of their money. Knowledge is power, so now that you know, help others know it as well. Together we can stop companies from preying on people.
