Won an online auction through gunbroker.com, the instructions specified payment be made by USPS money order. Sent money order with tracking. Money was received, item never shipped. A day after the money was received, about 5 days after the auction closed, I was informed by gunbroker that the seller's account was suspended for suspicious activity. I don't know why gunbroker would wait so long to notify a paying customer because at that point, it was too late to stop payment. Gunbroker wants me to jump through hoops to prove that I have made every effort to recover my lost money in the amount of 900.00 and only then will they reimburse me only 400.00 of it. They have not contacted me after several attempts of reaching out to someone there to discuss this matter and tell me how they can ensure that any dealings in the future will not be by another scammer. I would not trust this site with your money or your firearms.
