I was looking to purchase a tea cup Pomeranian puppy and I was searching online for places near me. I came across claudepomeranian.com and stated searching for pups and when I realize that they were being sold only for $650.00 I immediately moved forward and filled out the contact form. I received and email from this company who explained that the reason the pups are so cheap was that they were expecting another litter of pups soon. I then replied that I was very interested and that I would need to add them on my Instagram account so we can chat on the messenger which I did. Then I removed them but we continued to message one another and I asked where they were located and was told in Closter, NJ when I asked them how far is that from Westchester, NY he told me 2-3 hours away but when I did the search it was only 1 hour and 21 minutes. I asked if I could go by to visit the pups and he said yes but never provided an address then I noticed that they deliver so I decided to see if we can do a live video chat so I can see the pups which was done on Sunday, August 8th, 2021 but never seeing this man only heard his voice which had a foreign accent. I asked where was he from since the photo on the original Instagram was a Spanish looking man in a van or SUV and children in the background and he replied he was French. The video chat kept freezing up but I did get to see the pups playing which assured me that it was a legit. Well I couldn’t make up my mind by Monday and then I saw Lola. So I reached out to this Man and informed him that I wanted her. He said that he would need $300.00 deposit on order to remove her from website and would send me an invoice. I hesitated that day and told him let me think about it and what would be the method of payment cause I only use PayPal since they are more secured. He then said he only uses Zelle and if I couldn’t do it that way and didn’t trust him then for me to go find another breeder. So then Tuesday, August 10th, came and I stupidly agree to send him the $300 through Zelle and the rest would be given at the time that the pup would be delivered. He sent me and email with someone else’s name and info but I felt a little weary so I did it with Claude Pomeranian deposit for Lola Pomeranian. He sent me a frustrated message that I had to send it the exact way that he word it in the email and when I saw it, it had a different name on it which was Tavy Dawson and when I questioned him about it he said that was the cashier for his breeding business so I proceeded and sent him the $300 deposit. I also asked what the puppy eats so I could go get the food and other stuff and what time would the pup be arriving and he said same day no later then 3pm or 4pm. He sent me a list of puppy foods that I have never heard of. I asked if he could have the puppy deliver before 2pm since I had an online course that I needed to complete for my brokers license he responded no problem. So I went on my day and notice it was past 2 and had not heard anything from him. I reached out to him asking what was going on. He responded he would need the rest of the balance $350 in order to deliver the pup because he had to hire a car foe delivery and this is when I said I will go pick up the pup, to give me his address and that I did not feel comfortable sending any more money until the pup was in my possession. He replied that would be a better so I asked again for his address and still nothing. When I called the number a few times it went straight to voicemail and left him messages and still no call back. I continued to send him emails, messages and texts and still no reply. I tried calling again and that’s when I knew that it was a scheme and I was scammed because his number was disconnected. I didn’t give up and just continue to email, message and text him and nothing. Then I went into the Instagram account and that too was gone but I did a search again on the Instagram name and he was there. Made to accounts with same name but added a few more things to it and changes the pictures. He also had a screen shot of other victims name and payments that were made to him with Zelle and the amounts which I of I did get to screen shot it. Next day I reached out to FBI and they instructed me to process a complaint with them and BBB. Hopefully these people get caught. I have screen shots of all of our messages and texts along with emails which I will attach and hopefully you receive them all because there are so many.
