Daughter tried to purchase a basset puppy. She conversed with them through their web site only. They sent pictures and the contract. Sent them $50 the first day, then $700 the next morning. Didn’t hear back from them. Asked a couple friends to message, asking if the same dog was available. They were messaged back, being told it was. They weren’t getting back to my daughter. Thank God she contacted her bank and was able to stop the payment. Hopefully it’s only a loss of $50 and lesson learned.
