January 20, 2021, Classmates.com charged my account for $18.00 for a one-year subscription to Classmates.com. On September 24, 2021, I was charged $36.00. On September 24, 2021, I was charged $96.00 to my financial institution. Per my account billing and payments, my account type is 24 months, and my renewal option was listed as manual renewal. I only gave my credit card on January 20, 2021. This is credit and / or debit card fraud making unauthorized charges to financial institutions. In the past I enjoyed Classmates.com; however, unfortunately I now realize that Classmates.com is a SCAM.

Received notice from my bank that a $96 payment had been processed by Classmates.com. I did NOT receive any notice from Classmates (even though they said they did. Plus, they did NOT send a duplicate notice even though they said they would.) When I called, they said the fee was non-refundable! I checked my payment from 2 years ago. It was for $36, and the payment was reversed because I cancelled. This payment is $96! (a 167% increase). Classmates used my payment information even though I actually cancelled 2 years ago. When I asked the supervisor how to remove my payment information, she said they did not have it on file. THEN HOW DID THEY PROCESS THIS PAYMENT!?
This "company" is either TOTALLY INEPT or actually FRAUDULENT! Hard to tell.
I WOULD NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THEM. They stole $96 from me!

After I bought a yearbook for a credit card purchase they started to take an ACH payment monthly and to top it off I still get requests for me to send payments for the same service.

I have had a subscription to Classmates.com for a number of years, off and on. Over the past two years, I've noticed troubling "visits" and "remembrances" to my "profile." Classmates.com uses these "visits" and "remembrances" to make the subscriber believe that folks from high school days are reaching out and wanting to connect. Names of these folks are not displayed unless the member's subscription is up to date.

First...I have received "visits" from people who have never even gone to my high school!

Second...and more troubling...Classmates.com claims that folks from high school days "remember" the subscriber with various tags. In my case, I was listed as "Crush-Worthy" by another female classmate. When I asked her about this, she replied that she did visit my "Profile" but never submitted that "remembrance." In another case, I was described as "Kind" and "Athletic" by a fellow from my high school class...which I also believe to be untrue...based on my third issue.

This same fellow from high school has supposedly visited my "profile" 11 times since Jan. 1, 2017. Foolishly believing that he was, in fact, interested in my profile, after all these years, I began sending him emails. None have been read, and I've asked Classmates.com to delete them ASAP...now that I know that Classmates.com generated the visits. Even after complaining to Classmates.com about this, I received yet another visit from this same fellow on May 9, 2017...unbelievable!

I would like to shut this dishonest and unethical company down. I would like to file a claim against them in Small Claims court. I also plan to contact the Attorney General in Washington to see what legal actions can be taken against them. Any advice from you regarding further actions would be greatly appreciated.
