I was looking for a new puppy and found a possible good deal. I reached out by email and he responded quite quickly, but I noticed that there were many errors in the email. I sent him a list of questions to get more information before I made any commitments. He asked to call me to answer my questions. He called the next day and had a very heavy accent and was difficult to understand. He answered most of my questions and was very excited to send me my new puppy, but wouldn't give me any information over the phone about how to purchase. He told me just to wait for the email. He sent the email shortly after the call and it requested for me to forward money through Walmart. That is when I knew it was not legit and did extra research. The image of the puppy he had was used in past scams, and even though this was a few months ago, the puppy is still available on the website and nothing has changed on the site. No money was sent due to recognizing that it was not legit.

I still have the email chain from our conversation.

I contacted what I thought was a breeder of teacup yorkies to purchase for my wife. I received a email with pics of dogs but not the one I inquired about. The seller stated to have 3 vouchers for free shipping. I asked about the shipping and just received info on how the process works. A reservation for the dog would be made (once I had paid of course) for the dog to be shipped to me and that the transport company would call me. All sounded too good to be true so I googled the name on the return email of Camille Reid. This search brought me straight to a complaint of fraud. What happens is this shipping company (fake in this instance but an actual company) would call saying I needed to purchase a crate and insurance etc and etc. They would then demand another 750 or 850 before this imaginary puppy was to be released for shipment. Once I pushed the free shipping contract with this person or persons stopped completely. The complaints I read included her husband I'll assume as well. His name on the complaint was John Reid. She claimed to be a AKC registered breeder in Oklahoma but no evidence could found of this either via AKC online breeder lookup. Don't get scammed. Too good to be true means it's probably a scam. These people are just scam artists and I m sure there are no teacup yorkies or any other breed. Just scam artists!
