I unfortunately fell for the scam and even though embarrassed, I don’t want anyone else to do it. I drove five hours to pick up a puppy that didn’t exist. The home was in a bad area of town that could’ve been even more dangerous. I did however send a gift card as requested for $300! The person purchased a coach purse with my money! However since there was a small balance left on the gift card I was able to freeze the card for the remaining amount of money, I contacted corporate office of Ccoach and froze the online order for the scammer that stole my money!! And I am happy to say that American Express refunded the whole amount of $300 back to me!
