On September 27, 2018 @ 3:09pm est my own home phone number called me. This happened three times on the 9/27/2018 and once on 9/28/2018. The thing that made it so obvious is that we were out of town on vacation and had been gone since 9/22/2018. I had forwarded all my home phone calls to my cell phone. I did not answer any of the calls on 9/27/2018, but did answer one on 9/28/2018 by accident. ( I was expecting a call and did not look at the caller i.d. ) The caller sounded prerecorded and was a female saying that she was calling from Microsoft regarding my account!!?? I have no Microsoft account at all, and do not even use a Windows Program/Software of any kind. I hung up and went online into my home phone account and turned my voicemail off temporarily, and also checked my call block settings/options. I have never had this happen before and would strongly advise anyone that has this experience to report it here, and to their phone service, and any authorities. I plan to change my phone number as for the past year I have been getting calls for people I do not even know and have never heard of, and even with extensive call blocking with my phone provider and my phone itself I still get local spoofed calls. Please make others aware of this so they do not become a victim. I am concerned now that they may be using my own number to call not just me to attempt a scam/fraud, but also others.
