First I got a phone call. I ignored it. Then the next day when I clicked on "Lowe's Home Stores" my screen locked up and I got a pop-up to call 888-310-2999 to unlock my ip address. The *** ** ***, said my ip address was being used to forward viruses and he could fix it by taking over my laptop by remote. I was using my Chromebook at the time, but he insisted I open up my Windows laptop. Thats when I hanged up on him.
