The employment scam occurred in August 2021 as a job posting on Indeed for a Remote Office Assistant at SDV Logistics. After applying, I receive an email with a screenshot of my application from a man named Alex using an email address which first appears as Conor Nicholson from SDV Logistics, but upon highlighting it is revealed as .

Thank you for your interest in our job offer, you are fit for the position to get started kindly fill the BACKGROUND CHECK INFORMATION FORM below along with a front/back copy of your Driver license so as to schedule you for an interview

The form actually requires a comprehensive list of your past addresses over the last 7 years. No interviews occurred although there were additional requests for personal information in order to setup an interview.

I reported the posting to Indeed, but am unaware of the outcome.

Definitely a scam so beware any requests for invasive information to schedule an interview.
