Someone pretending to be a recruiter reached out to me via text message about a job I “supposedly” applied for, was told I needed to download Microsoft teams for the “online interview” did the online interview with the supposed “HR Manager” and got offered a job and was sent an offer letter. Have been trolling them and quizzing them on the company the last 24 or so hours. Biggest red flag was needing to send me a check to buy the company equipment via a vendor. Also the number I was texted from was a 570 which is north Virginia, while the company is located in Boston
