I was offered a remote job online for customer service and was told to deposit checks into my account in order to be able to order the equipment that was required to have to start the job (Ex: laptop, printer). They also sent me a letter via email confirming the job offer. Once I made them aware of the issue with the check they asked me to deposit more checks into different accounts. They also asked me to write a two-page paper on what customer service meant to me.
