I received a text message from Manuel Franco that said I was a winner of a Federal Government grant. It was a $700 million power ball lottery winner and that I qualified for some of this grant. He wanted my name and address to see if I was still on the winning list and of course I was. I told him my name and just the city and state I lived in. I finally asked what were my winnings and he stated $300,000 and went on and wanted more info. I gave him most of what he wanted and then he told me I would need to pay $50 to receive the money. I told him I didn't have the money for that and that if I won something, I wouldn't need to pay any money. He wanted me to download an app called Promise and I did. This app is for a loan company. I told him I didn't want to take out a loan and he insisted that it wasn't an actual loan, it just looked like it. The app wanted me to take a picture of myself and my social security card. He gave me an email address and password to log in with and I saw that he had already set it up for me to take out a $500 loan. I told him I did not want to give that information and ended our conversation.
