Two weeks ago a so called debt collector with cjb called from a 855 number claiming I had a cash e-loan about 9 years ago, I told them I had never done an e-loan so they told me that to settle the Debt I needed to pay $800 before the day was up or I would be served papers to appear in court then it would cost me $3000 I asked them to send me proof of this loan and she said I could get that in court. So I waited to be served papers this never happened. Now today I received another call from 877-726-6197 again from cjb saying I was being sued if I did not pay, I believe this to be a scam since they can't show me proof of this transaction. What should I do, I'm afraid they can ruin my credit.
